AROMATHERAPY

 

To start, try Lavender (soothing and calming).  Diffuse or add a few drops to your pillow and/or feet to prepare for a restful night’s sleep.  Add a few drops to a warm bath to soak away stress.  Consume 1-2 drops (therapeutic grade) to help calm the nervous system.

Peppermint (cooling and energizing) may be taken internally (therapeutic grade oils only) to alleviate occasional stomach upset. A few drops on head and neck soothe headache tension.

  • Grounding – Balance Grounding Blend, Sandalwood, Cedarwood

  • Soothing – Lemongrass, Melissa, Ylang Ylang, Ginger, Myrrh

  • Calming – Lavender, Jasmine, Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile

  • Energizing – Peppermint, Spearmint, Fennel

  • Uplifting – Tangerine, Wild Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, White Fir, Douglas Fir

  • Renewing  -- Eucalyptus, Wintergreen, Birch, Cypress, Juniper Berry, Frankincense

  • Warming – Cinnamon

  • Harmonizing – Rose, Geranium, Marjoram, Melaleuca

 

HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES

  • Anxiety – Argentum nitricum

  • Insomnia due to stress – Coffea cruda

  • PMS – Sepia

  • Stress/grief – Ignatia amara

There are also remedies for many physical ailments (colds, fever, flu, allergies, indigestion, joint pain, motion sickness, nasal congestion, nausea, sore throat...).

 

BACH FLOWER REMEDIES:  All natural and non-habit forming (contain alcohol).

  • Rescue Remedy – These natural stress relievers are available in a spray or tin of “pastilles,” (gum drops). 

  • Rescue Sleep – Apply two sprays to the tongue to calm your restless mind caused by stress and repetitive thoughts.
