BEYOND STRESS, ANXIETY      & DEPRESSION

A typical two-hour class consists of taking a few minutes to transition into presence with a grounding reading.  Then we learn what CBT is – becoming aware of how thoughts, feelings and behaviors are related.  Over eight weeks, we learn to question beliefs that may no longer be true, but cause suffering.  Shifting these is where transformation happens. 

 

We use drumming for its physical and mental health benefits which include reduction in stress, anxiety and depression.  It also allows us to shift into a more relaxed state before a guided meditation to complement the CBT.  Receive hands-on energy balancing and a variety of other tools to help you manage stress, get on top of anxiety and ease depression.

 

The cost of the program includes:

  •  Eight weekly two-hour group classes
  •   Access to facilitators between classes to answer questions and provide support.
  •  A comprehensive Journey to Self Workbook.  At the first class you receive all the CBT lessons and instructions for the holistic practices taught each week.  This is a valuable resource that will serve as a handy reference guide long after our program has ended.
  • Weekly enrichment assignments.  To optimize the benefits of the series, you are given assignments and practices to do between classes.
  •  Recordings of the holistic practices.  We email you recordings of the holistic practices taught each week so you have the guidance to easily do them on your own at home.
  •  One 90-minute individual holistic healing session (optional)
  • A personalized action plan. We provide specific guidelines to achieve your healing goals based on your personal circumstances.

On an individual basis, the value of the services provided in each class would be $210.  In the group setting you receive them for less than 1/3 of the cost!

Everyone who fully participated and followed the program experienced a decrease in anxiety and depression, based on anxiety and depression scales completed at the first and last class. 

BEYOND INSOMNIA

We use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to understand sleep and how our thought and behavior patterns are impacting our ability to get a good night’s rest. We will create new patterns that help us find sleep again. 

 

Holistic practices that complement the CBT and provide healing are included.
